Shadia Alame is an experienced professional in the wine and spirits industry, currently serving as an Italian Portfolio Sales Ambassador at Skurnik Wines & Spirits since January 2022. Prior roles at the same company include Import Portfolio Manager and Assistant Italian Portfolio Manager. Shadia's background also includes positions such as Front of House at L'Artusi, Wine Intern at Food & Wine Magazine, and Sommelier at Terroir NYC. Additionally, Shadia has teaching experience as an Instructor at Full Sail University. Educational qualifications include a Certified Sommelier designation from the Court of Master Sommeliers, an Intensive Sommelier Training in Food & Beverage Service from the International Culinary Center, and an Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. Shadia holds a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University.
