Shahz Khatri

Shahz Khatri has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Shahz began their career at Lehman Brothers in 2006 as an Analyst, where they developed quantitative tools for trading and risk management for Credit Default Swaps (CDS) on Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS). Shahz also developed daily pricing processes for CDS and options on CDS (Swaptions).

In 2007, Shahz joined Citadel Investment Group as a Quantitative Developer, where they worked until 2012. During their tenure, they utilized their analytical skills to contribute to the development of quantitative models and strategies.

In 2012, Shahz founded Meta Notions and served as the CTO and Founder until 2014. In this role, they were responsible for leading the technical aspects of the company, overseeing product development, and driving innovation.

Shahz then joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President in 2014 and remained with the company until 2021. Shahz'swork involved managing various responsibilities within the organization, contributing to the company's success.

After leaving Goldman Sachs, Shahz joined Kbit as the Director of Research in 2021, where they focused on conducting research and analysis to support investment decisions. Shahz held this position until 2022.

Currently, Shahz is the Head of Trading at Brooklyn Investment Group, a position they have held since April 2023. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing trading operations, developing investment strategies, and ensuring profitability for the company.

Shahz Khatri attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Following this, they enrolled as a non-degree student at the University of Chicago from 2008 to 2010. At the University of Chicago, they pursued their interests in Financial Mathematics.
