Sanjay Dastoor has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Sanjay is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Skip, a position they have held since December 2017. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as CEO of Boosted Inc. from 2011 to 2017. Sanjay worked as an Instructor at Stanford University - EPGY in 2008 and as a Research Assistant at SRI International in 2007. Additionally, they had an internship at Nagel Special Machines Pvt. Ltd. in 2006 and worked as a Summer Undergraduate Researcher at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 2003 to 2004.

Sanjay Dastoor pursued their higher education at renowned institutions. Sanjay began their academic journey in 2001 at the University of California, Berkeley, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science in 2005.

Afterwards, Dastoor continued their studies at Stanford University from 2005 to 2007, working towards a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently, they furthered their educational pursuits at Stanford and undertook a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2007 to 2013; however, the completion of their Ph.D. remains incomplete.
