Mary Beth Thompson began their work experience in 2009 as an Audience Assistant for "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" and as an Event Coordinator for Cystic Fibrosis Canada - Scotia Chapter. Mary Beth then worked as a Marketing/Communications Coordinator (Co-op) for Citadel Theatre Society and as a Communications Officer (Co-op) for the Nova Scotia Federal Communications Council in 2010 and 2011, respectively. From 2011 to 2014, Mary Beth held multiple roles at Impact Communications Group, including Account Manager and Brand Advisor. Mary Beth also worked as an Account Executive at Atlantic Screen Printing from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they became a Brand Ambassador for Cruel Collective and a Marketing & Communications Manager for Iris Booth. Mary Beth joined Cheer Expo Inc. in 2008 as a Senior Event Coordinator, and their most recent role was as a Product Manager at Skinfix Inc. starting in 2016.
Mary Beth Thompson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Mount Saint Vincent University. Mary Beth attended this university from 2008 to 2015. Prior to that, Mary Beth Thompson completed their high school education at Dartmouth High School from 2005 to 2008.
