Durgesh FBCS, ChCSP, CEng, MCIIS possesses extensive experience in cyber risk management and information security, currently holding a senior management position in the energy sector since September 2023. Active in various roles, Durgesh serves as a panel member on the Certification Working Group for ISACA and engages in technology and cyber risk management in the banking and financial services sector since May 2021. Contributions include serving as a lead assessor for the NCSC CCP Scheme at APMG International and mentoring within the Chartered Institute of Information Security, where involvement also extends to the UK Cyber Security Council Formation Project. Notable prior positions include Group Information Security Manager at Balfour Beatty and Sr Security Response Lead at Symantec Corporation. Academically, Durgesh holds a Master's degree in Information Security Management from The University of Salford and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
