Ricardo Burbano MartÃnez has diverse work experience in various design roles. Ricardo started their career as a Freelance Infographic Designer at El Colombiano in 2007. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer on special projects, leading the design production of catalogues for Crown department stores and initiating the graphic and editorial design for the Tendenza collection. Ricardo also created stereoscopic animations for the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley during this time.
In 2012, Ricardo joined SENA as a Graphic Designer, where they coordinated layout and editorial production for the digital educational program ADSI. Additionally, they worked as an illustrator, creating characters, backgrounds, and elements for animations and educational games.
From 2013 to 2015, Ricardo worked at Tragaluz editores as a Freelance Editorial Designer and Design Director. Ricardo led the redesign of book collections for the School of Philosophy and Literature at the National University of Colombia, UNAL. Ricardo also showcased their illustration skills by creating book covers and illustrations for various publications, both in print and digital formats.
From 2015 to 2019, Ricardo worked under their own name as a Freelance Design Director, Project Manager, Graphic Designer, and Illustrator. In this role, they coordinated brief projects and supported other designers as a Design Director. Ricardo specialized in designing Powerpoint presentations and producing full decks.
Most recently, Ricardo has been working at SketchDeck since 2019. Ricardo began as a Freelance Graphic Designer, focused on developing brand styles and POS assets. Ricardo also excelled in quality control and brand style communication. Later, they took on the role of Freelance Brand Manager, where they designed impactful projects for company accounts and provided creative guidance to elevate creativity and effectiveness.

Ricardo Burbano MartÃnez attended the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.
