David Smith has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. David started their career as a Caddie at Olympia Fields Country Club in 2012. David then worked as a Project Engineer Intern at RK in 2015 and Norcon, Inc. in 2016 and 2017. In 2017, they also served as Vice President of the Mechanical Contractors Association - Purdue Chapter and President of the Purdue Evans Scholars Scholarship House. From 2018 to 2020, David worked as a Project Engineer at Skender before transitioning to Altounian Construction, where they held the role of Assistant Project Manager from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they work at Skender as an Assistant Project Manager, overseeing various projects including the lobby repositioning of 3500 Lacey Road and the high-end interior buildout at the historic Old Post Office for Vizient.
