SEO Project Manager

Responsibilities

Client Communication Management:

  • Run client calls and ensure all the key information discussed is acted upon after. Give clients project status updates confidently over Zoom.

  • Run call debriefings where appropriate with the internal team, and send clients the key actions post-call over Slack or email.

  • Answer client questions promptly on Slack or email related to the project (non-technical) and provide timely updates on current progress and deliverables

  • Maintain client relationships as the main point of contact on a project

Project Management: 

  • Manage multiple projects at the same time.

  • Understand client business goals and main objectives per quarter

  • Ensure our strategy and deliverables are on track with identified client business goals

  • Send completed work to clients over Slack or email

  • Ensure each project stays on budget each month. For example moving around tasks in order to do so when scope changes.

  • Map out project roadmaps effectively in Clickup, and check the plans being made by the team fit within the project’s budget.

  • Ensure projects are resourced effectively by mapping out projects against available resources. Help deal with workload clashes.

  • Support PM Team Lead in managing freelancers on projects when necessary

  • Ensure all the key docs and info for each project are available, up-to-date, and organised

  • Hold clients accountable on deliverables for our team to succeed by executing and maintaining follow up checklists

  • Run regular project check-ins ensuring scope has not increased, things are on track, and help unblock any blockers.

  • Ensure project SLAs are being met daily, weekly and monthly

Administration & Monitoring Management: 

  • Upload data & project info to internal tools

  • Partner with all our teams: SEO, Content, Tech, and Off-Page.

  • Provide necessary feedback to PM Team Lead to assist with project retrospective meetings where necessary

  • Own the organisation of gathering information for the monthly and quarterly based client reports

  • Ensure any escalation issues relating to a project are communicated in a timely manner to the PM Team Lead

  • As the main point of contact on a project it is your responsibility to feed information back to the internal team.

  • Ensure the KPI tracking is updated from a high-level perspective monthly for all your clients

  • Ensure we are sending client surveys to main stakeholders and client POCs on projects quarterly to get feedback on our teams performance

  • Ensure everything is working like clockwork and a well-oiled machine.

  • Follow ways of working and assist operations and PMO with improving SOPs

About you:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience being an SEO Account Manager in an agency (project management experience is a huge bonus!)

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and love communicating with clients

  • You have previously worked in a remote environment

  • Managing multiple complex projects and working across multiple stakeholders doesn’t phase you

  • You’re super proactive and take ownership of your work

  • You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and working with an international and diverse team

  • Leading with initiative comes naturally to you, and you are always looking for new ways to innovate

  • You make decisions with a clear and objective mindset

  • You are obsessed with keeping everything organised to the final detail

  • You’ve used Project Management tools such as Asana or Clickup before
