Joe Lopez II is an experienced operations manager currently serving at SJSU Spartan Recreation since June 2022, where responsibilities include administering recreation management software, overseeing a team of over 75 student staff, and assisting with facility maintenance and safety protocols. Prior roles include supervising membership and guest services while managing financial transactions at SJSU and excelling as a Group Sales Account Executive at the Inland Empire 66ers, where revenue goals were significantly exceeded. Previous experiences also encompass guest services at the Rose Bowl Stadium, event operations at SoFi Stadium, volunteer coordination for USA Triathlon, and roles in fitness and tutoring. Joe holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State University-San Bernardino.
