Adela Kang has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Adela is currently working at Group SJR as an Associate Creative Director, starting in July 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at the same company as a Senior Art Director from February 2021 to July 2023. Adela also has experience working as a Freelance Illustrator & Designer since June 2011. Adela previously worked at SJR as an Art Director from September 2018 to February 2020, at The Brand Factory as a Designer from July 2017 to September 2018, at Sovereign State as a Designer from July 2015 to July 2017, and at Young & Rubicam as a Jr. Designer from October 2014 to June 2015, with a previous role at the same company as a Design Intern from May 2014 to September 2014.

Adela Kang pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting in 2007. Adela attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a focus on Illustration. Following this, they enrolled at OCAD University from 2012 to 2014, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design.
