Iris Verdonk Welmans has extensive experience in the nursing field, currently serving as an Assessor for acute geneeskunde and verpleegkundige vervolgopleidingen at Maastricht UMC+ since 2021. From December 2013, Iris has worked as an SEH-verpleegkundige at SJG Weert, with a previous position at Highcare in the same role from August 2019 to October 2020. Earlier experience includes a role as a Verpleegkundige at Thuiszorg de zorggroep and as a Verpleegkundige A in the internal medicine-oncology, pulmonology, and cardiology department at SJG Weert. Educational qualifications include a degree as an SEH verpleegkundige from UMC+ Maastricht, along with certifications in Verzorgende IG and inservice Verpleegkunde from Gilde opleidingen and Summa, respectively.
