Karen Kennedy, P.E. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering and Subsurface Utility Engineering Lead at SJB Group, LLC since July 2021. Previously, Karen was the President of GWS Engineering, Inc. from September 2014 to July 2021, where responsibilities included due diligence for potential developments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. From March 2007 to September 2014, Karen held the role of Project Engineer and Senior Estimator at RJ Daigle and Sons, focusing on roadway projects and cost analysis. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Project Engineer at GWS Engineering, Inc. and a Senior Project Engineer role at GSA, Inc., where Karen managed various infrastructure projects. Karen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University from 1990 to 1995.
