Laura Rote is an accomplished Managing Editor with extensive experience in editorial management, content creation, and social media oversight. Since October 2016, Laura has served as Managing Editor at Green Building and Design, while also holding a similar position at Sixtysix Magazine since May 2018. Previously, Laura was Editor at Time Out Chicago from June 2015 to September 2016, and served as Editor/Managing Editor at New South Media from 2011 to May 2015, where responsibilities included managing content for multiple publications. Additional roles include freelance writing for St. Mary's Medical Center and WV LIVING Magazine, project management assistance at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, and reporting for various news outlets such as The Herald-Dispatch and Clarksburg Exponent Telegram. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from West Virginia University, obtained in 2006.
