Alex Schmelkin is an experienced entrepreneur and leader in the technology and insurance sectors. Currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Sixfold since March 2023, Alex focuses on addressing complex challenges in the insurance landscape using generative AI. Previously, Alex was an EIR Operating Advisor at Bessemer Venture Partners, where involvement centered on scaling product and go-to-market strategies for portfolio companies. As a founding member of Unqork from April 2017 to September 2022, Alex contributed to the development of the world's first enterprise no-code platform. Throughout a diverse career, Alex has held various leadership roles, including CEO and Founder of both Cake & Arrow and Alexander Interactive, where innovative customer experience design and ecommerce solutions were developed for high-profile clients. Alex's early career included pivotal roles at Avatar Technology and Davanita Design, establishing a strong foundation in web engineering and design. Academic credentials include a BS in Policy Analysis from Cornell University.
