Luis B. Pintado has an extensive background in business development, consulting, and IT solutions. Luis B. began their career in 2001 as a Senior Consultant in IBM's Communications Cluster, where they were responsible for sales and delivery of Business, Operations, and Strategic Consulting projects in the telecom, media, and utilities sectors. In 2004, they joined Nokia Networks as a Senior Solutions Consultant, and then moved on to MyScreen Mobile in 2009 as the General Director for Mexico and Central America. In 2010, they were recruited to become the Regional Director of Device Management at Brightstar, and then joined bioMerieux as the IT Solutions Leader for North America in 2011. In 2015, they became the Business Development Head for Latin America at Mistral Mobile, and then co-founded SIVOTEC Analytics in 2016 and SIVOTEC BioInformatics in 2018. Most recently, in 2021, Luis became the Head of Metaverse Partner Strategy, Meta Connectivity and Business Development Lead, Latam at Meta Financial Technologies.

Luis B. Pintado obtained their Bachelors in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 1989 and 1993. Luis B. then pursued a Postgrade in Telecommunications from the same institution between 1997 and 1998. Finally, they obtained their MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management between 1999 and 2001, focusing on Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship.
