Lisa Borthwick,

Lisa Borthwick has over 10 years of experience in the IT media industry. Lisa has worked in various roles at different companies, including Situational Publishing, IDC, and IDG Global Solutions.

At Situation Publishing, Lisa currently holds the position of Vice President EMEA Sales, which they started in June 2022. Prior to this role, they served as Head of GTM Solutions and Business Development Director EMEA from September 2019 to June 2022. In this role, they were responsible for developing and spearheading the Go-to-Market content portfolio in Europe to drive new revenue streams for the business. Their responsibilities also included growing and diversifying the company into new areas within existing and new clients.

At IDC, Lisa held several positions. Lisa was a Senior Business Development Manager, Custom Solutions Western Europe from January 2018 to September 2019. Their role involved leading the Go-to-Market Portfolio in Western Europe and overseeing IDC's Buyer Behavior and Sales Enablement Practice areas within the region. Lisa was also a Business Development Manager, Custom Solutions Western Europe from December 2013 to December 2017, where they focused on developing research-based content marketing campaigns to support IDC's clients in engaging with the market.

Before joining IDC, Lisa worked at IDG Global Solutions. Lisa served as a Director Strategic Clients from June 2013 to October 2013, where they sourced new technology companies and maintained existing relationships across a varied portfolio of B2B and B2C brands. Lisa was also a Director, International Sales from September 2010 to June 2013, managing a team of 4 and responsible for new business development, client retention, and relationship management. Prior to that, Lisa held the positions of Associate Director, International Sales from September 2008 to September 2010 and International Sales Manager, IDG Global Solutions from September 2003 to September 2008. In these roles, they focused on selling integrated marketing solutions and building relationships with media agencies, educating them on new developments and innovations within their client base.

Lisa Borthwick obtained a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute in the year 2020. In 2011, they received a Certificate in B2B Marketing with Distinction from The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing. Prior to that, in the period from 1998 to 2001, Lisa completed their Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in International Business from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
