Emma-Leena Kemppainen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy and EU affairs. As a Specialist at Sitra since January 2022, Emma-Leena focuses on developing a roadmap for a Fair Data Economy. Previously, Emma-Leena served as a Senior Advisor for EU Affairs at Uudenmaan liitto from September 2019 to January 2022 and held the position of Information Officer for the Central Baltic programme from May 2015 to August 2019. Emma-Leena also has a background in parliamentary assistance, with roles at the Parliament of Finland and the Office of the Parliament in Brussels. Emma-Leena holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Turun yliopisto, supplemented by coursework at the University of Strasbourg.
