Gautam Rao has extensive work experience in the fields of technical accounting, compliance, and auditing. Gautam is currently a Director of Technical Accounting & Compliance at SiTime. Prior to that, Gautam worked at EY, where they held various roles including Audit Senior Manager, Audit Manager, Assistant Manager, Executive, and Audit Intern.

Gautam Rao's education history begins in 1993 when they attended Little Flower Public School. Gautam completed their primary and secondary education at this institution up until 2001. In 2004, Gautam pursued a degree in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) at PES Degree College, where they studied finance. Gautam graduated from PES Degree College in 2006. Following this, in 2003, Gautam enrolled at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to earn a degree in finance and become a Chartered Accountant, which they completed in 2009. Finally, in 2016, Gautam pursued further education at the California Board of Accountancy, where they obtained a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) degree in the field of accounting and finance by 2017.
