Stella Kim is an accomplished urban designer and planner with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as an Associate at SITELAB urban studio since January 2021, Stella has previously held positions including Senior Planner at WXY Studio and Program Manager for Privately Owned Public Spaces at the NYC Department of City Planning. Notably, Stella was a Forefront Fellow at Urban Design Forum, participating in the 2018 Fellowship “Shelter for All,” which focused on designing solutions for homelessness in New York City in collaboration with stakeholders. Prior roles include planning and design intern at MIG, program assistant for Pavement to Parks at the City and County of San Francisco, and special projects intern at North Park Main Street. Stella holds a Master of City Planning with a focus on Urban Design from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego.
