Melanie Massie Bishop currently serves as the Director of Community Service at Sisters of Charity of Nazareth since May 2019. Prior to this role, Melanie held the position of Case Manager at Catholic Charities Louisville from October 2009 to May 2019, where responsibilities included serving as a Birthparent Counselor for Adoptions and managing the women’s Criminal Justice Aftercare Program. Earlier experience includes serving as House Manager at Lifespring Inc from September 2007 to October 2008 and as a Classification and Treatment Officer at Kentucky State Reformatory from March 2005 to September 2007. Melanie's educational background includes a Master of Science in Justice Administration from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Bellarmine University.
