Deb Miller worked as the Sr. Director of Human Resources at Sisters of Charity Health System from May 2014 to the present. Prior to that, they held the position of Manager of Human Resources at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center from July 1999 to May 2014.

Deb Miller received their Bachelor's Degree in Management and Labor Relations from Cleveland State University, which they pursued from 1984 to 1989. In July 2021, they obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
