Sean Stagg has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Sean worked at John Sisk & Son Ltd as a Project Director from November 2018 onwards. Prior to that, they were an Area Manager for the Ireland East Business Unit, where they were responsible for business development and leading project and tender delivery teams. Sean also worked on the UCD Science Centre Phase 2 project from September 2011 to July 2014. In addition, Sean Stagg served as an External Examiner at Waterford Institute of Technology from August 2008 to May 2011. Before that, they worked at John Sisk and Son Ltd as a Senior Contracts Manager from January 2003 to January 2011.

Sean Stagg has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Waterford Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Construction Management at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1992. Sean also holds a Certificate in Construction Studies from Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991. In addition to their education, Stagg has certifications including Personal Watercraft Instructor from the Irish Sailing Association, and MCIOB and MIEI from the Chartered Institute of Building and Engineers Ireland, respectively.
