Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies since July 2010, contributing to the development of collaborative solutions through hardware design for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris served as a Firmware Engineer, focusing on firmware and diagnostic tools for similar technologies. Prior roles include Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting in engineering labs and assessments. Additionally, Chris worked as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry harvester units. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
