Katarina Westermark serves as the Tax Director for Europe and Asia Pacific at SiriusPoint since September 2018, overseeing tax-related matters and leading change and development projects, including tax planning and M&A activities. Prior to this role, Katarina was a Senior Tax Specialist at Vattenfall from January 2012 to August 2018, where responsibilities included managing the group’s financial tax reporting and contributing to the annual and sustainability reports. Additionally, Katarina held the position of Group Tax Controller, focusing on tax accounting and transfer pricing. Starting the professional career as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young from January 2009 to December 2011, notable work involved auditing larger public companies across various sectors. Katarina holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University, completed in 2008.
