Jared O'Leary is the Co-Founder and CEO of SirenOpt, a company specializing in sensors and software that enhance research and development while enabling cost-effective manufacturing of high-performance thin films, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Jared served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley from January 2017 to August 2022, focusing on learning-based strategies in colloidal self-assembly systems under the guidance of Professor Ali Mesbah. Jared's career also includes leadership roles at Theranos, where responsibilities included team leadership in assay integration and systems validation from July 2013 to July 2016, alongside prior engineering and research positions at Stanford University and Svaya Nanotechnologies. Jared holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science with Honors and Distinction in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
