Sassirekha Sekar began their work experience as a Software Engineer at Honeywell in November 2012 and ended their tenure in July 2018. Sassirekha then transitioned to a career in academia, working as an Assistant Professor at Thiagarajar College of Engineering from August 2018 to February 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Sr. QA Engineer at Sirahu Technologies, starting in March 2022.

Sassirekha Sekar has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications from fresher women's Jobs Madurai. Sassirekha also holds a Master's Degree in Computer Applications from Thiagarajar College of Engineering. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Python Basics for Data Science from edX in March 2021.
