Lucas Wiktorsson currently serves as a Junior Project Manager and Communications Officer at SIPRI since January 2023. Prior to this role, Lucas held the position of Desk Officer in the Department for UN Policy, Conflict and Humanitarian Affairs at Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet, from January 2022 to September 2022, and previously interned in the same department focusing on conflict issues and UN security policy. Lucas holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Leiden University, completed in 2023, and an MA with Honours in Philosophy & Politics from the University of Glasgow, earned in 2021.
