Bassam Shamoun is a seasoned professional in the engineering field with extensive experience at leading technology companies. Currently a Principal at Intel Corporation since April 2013, Bassam previously held the position of Director of Engineering at Veeco Instruments from November 2010 to March 2013, and served as Senior Engineering Manager at Applied Materials from June 1998 to November 2010. Bassam's academic background includes both a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics and Engineering Mechanics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where studies were completed between 1990 and 1998.
