Oleg Agafonov has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and development field since 2011. Oleg started their career at Svyaznoy Zagruzka in 2011 as a QA for small web projects in Java. In 2012, they worked as an SDET for Deutsche Bank projects at Luxoft and for PA projects at Parallels. In 2013, they worked as an SDET for Yandex.Direct project (WebUI, API) at Yandex and as a Senior Java Developer (xVLR project) at MegaLabs. In 2016, they were the Head of the Telecom department at QLabs. In 2017, they were a Cloud Software Engineer at TeleStax and CTO & co-founder of SIP3 at SIP3.IO. Oleg is currently the CTO and Senior Full Stack Engineer at Byzantion since 2022.

Oleg Agafonov completed their undergraduate degree at the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) in 2011, where they earned a Specialist degree in Programmable Control Systems of Automated Technological Processes and Automation. Oleg also holds two certifications from Coursera, one in Sequences, Time Series and Prediction obtained in May 2020, and one in Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning obtained in March 2020.
