Andrew King has extensive experience in the field of NanoEngineering, currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Singular Genomics since March 2020, where Andrew has held various roles, including Senior Scientist and Scientist I. Prior to Singular Genomics, Andrew worked as a Research Associate at Nautilus Biotechnology and engaged in academic research at the University of California San Diego, culminating in a Master of Science in NanoEngineering. Laboratory skills include sample preparation for TEM, conducting UV-vis thermal analyses, and utilizing various etching and growth techniques for silicon wafers. Notable projects involve research on gold-coated nickel oxide nanoparticles for cancer therapy and micromotors for improved biosensing. Andrew's research background also includes significant contributions in biochemistry and nanomedicine through prior roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Research Intern.
