Shailendra Tripathi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health, safety, and quality management across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Health Safety and Wellbeing at Optus since November 2020, Shailendra also advocates for safety governance as a Citizen Advocate at the Safety Governance Foundation since May 2021. Previously, Shailendra held significant roles including Head of WHS at QBE Insurance, General Manager of OHS at RTA, and National Risk and Quality Manager at Wesfarmers Industrial Safety. Shailendra's career began in quality engineering with positions at Tata Steel, Lloyds Steel Industries Ltd, and Roadmaster Industries Limited. Shailendra holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, an Advance Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
