Jamie Hansen has a strong background in software development and quality assurance. From January 2010 to March 2017, Jamie worked at Epic as a Software Test Engineer and later as a Quality Assurance professional. During this time, Jamie gained experience in testing and quality assurance processes. In March 2017, Jamie joined Singlewire Software as a Quality Assurance Analyst, where they were responsible for testing and test automation for Singlewire's Fusion and InformaCast products. Jamie utilized Groovy, Geb, and Spock to perform UI and API test automation, as well as exploratory and performance testing. In August 2021, Jamie transitioned to the role of Software Developer at Singlewire Software, where they continue to contribute their software development expertise.

Jamie Hansen attended Luther College from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Sociology. Following that, from 2013 to 2017, Jamie pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Springfield.
