Sumaiyah Kola is a Software Engineer with a strong background in Computer Science. Sumaiyah has experience working in various companies such as Singletrack, Qualcomm, Hack Cambridge, Jane Street, dunnhumby, and The Marketing Lab Ltd. Sumaiyah has a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, where Sumaiyah also completed their Bachelor's degree. Sumaiyah was the Head of Marketing at Hack Cambridge and a member of the Marketing team at Jane Street. Sumaiyah has also participated in a Women in Trading and Technology (WiTT) programme at Jane Street, focusing on Software Engineering. Sumaiyah worked as a Software Engineering Intern at dunnhumby, where Sumaiyah managed storage of pricing rules and wrote ETL code using Apache Spark and Scala.
