Yongzhu (Eric) Li is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as VP of Engineering and Director of Engineering at SingleStore since September 2019, Yongzhu leads initiatives related to core transaction systems, cluster management, elasticity, and high availability, while actively recruiting for various locations including Seattle, San Francisco, and Lisbon. Concurrently, Yongzhu holds the position of Director for the Database Group at Huawei Technologies, spearheading research and development in database and data management technologies. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Alibaba.com and Google, as well as SDE at Amazon and Java Developer at CommerceHub. Yongzhu's career began as an Account Manager at Siemens Shanghai Mobile Communications Ltd. and is supported by a Master’s in Computer Science from the University at Albany and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Zhejiang University.
