Mike Leman has had a diverse work experience. Mike started their career in 1982 as an Operations Manager at Green King Landscape, where they worked until 1995. In 1995, they founded Singing Hills Landscape, Inc and served as President and CEO. In 2003, they became the Managing Partner at MM Second Avenue Investments LLC, focusing on leasing office/warehouse space.

Mike Leman attended Front Range Community College from 1983 to 1985, studying Urban Horticulture. Prior to this, in 1981, they briefly attended Elgin Community College without a specified field of study. In 2004, they obtained certification as a Landscape Industry Certified Manager from the National Association of Landscape Professionals.
