Steve Nelson has a strong work history, with experience in various leadership and operational roles. Steve started their career at Wal-Mart in 1992, where they worked in retail operations management for seven years. In 2000, they joined Harley-Davidson Motor Company, where they held multiple positions including Lean Manager, Director of Operations, and General Manager. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Dimensional Innovations as the Chief Operating Officer and later as the General Manager. Currently, they are the Vice President of US Operations at Singer Vehicle Design, starting in 2022.
Steve Nelson's education history includes several certifications in Lean Six Sigma. In 2005, they attended PSU/CCU, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 2007, Steve completed a Green Belt certification in Six Sigma at Paloma / Harley-Davidson. Steve furthered their expertise in Six Sigma by earning a Black Belt certification at the same institution in 2008. Later that year, Steve attended SigmaPro for a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
