Irene Liu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance, risk, regulatory, and compliance consulting across Southeast Asia. Currently serving as Managing Director at Accenture Southeast Asia, Irene leads initiatives focused on digital finance transformations and advanced analytics for financial institutions. Supporting academic growth, Irene is the Chairman of the SOA Data & Analytics Board at Singapore Management University and holds advisory roles while contributing as an adjunct faculty member. Irene co-chairs the EDM Council Women Data Professionals APAC Board, promoting women's advancement in data careers. Previous roles include Chief Governance and Reporting Officer at UnionDigital, Partner at PwC, and leadership positions in major banks such as The Royal Bank of Scotland and National Australia Bank. Irene holds degrees in Accounting and Finance from Nanyang Technological University and has furthered skills in data strategy and organizational leadership through programs at MIT and the University of Oxford.
