Peter Tan has a comprehensive and diverse work experience spanning over several years. Peter has held various leadership positions in different companies. Peter started their career as a Foreign Service Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore from 1988 to 1994. Peter then joined UPS Asia Pacific and served as an Assistant Manager of Communications from 1994 to 1996, Regional Public Relations Manager from 1996 to 1998, and Regional Marketing Communications Manager from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, they became the Regional Director of Brand Communications at UPS Asia Pacific Region Office and played a crucial role in UPS's global re-branding initiative in Asia. Peter later moved to UPS China as the Marketing Director of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Sponsorship Team, where they led marketing and branding engagement initiatives. Peter then returned to the UPS Asia Pacific Region Office as the Regional Marketing Communications Director from 2009 to 2013, responsible for brand communication, PR, sponsorships, and internal communications across the Asia Pacific. Finally, Peter joined the Singapore International Foundation in 2013 and held various positions, including Director of Corporate Communications, Division Director of Communications & Corporate Development, and currently serves as the Senior Division Director of the Communications & Engagement Division.
Peter Tan has a Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences degree in Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
