Colin Merry is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as VP of Engineering at Sinclair Broadcast Group since April 2023. Prior to this role, Colin held the VP of Engineering position at Apptentive by Alchemer, where leadership was provided to a hybrid team of 30 engineers. Colin's extensive experience includes a tenure at Tableau Software from 2013 to 2021, where responsibilities encompassed multiple leadership roles such as Senior Director of Engineering and Director of Product Development, overseeing engineering teams and product management for core analytics and advanced analytics initiatives. Earlier career experience includes significant roles at Microsoft Corporation, Computer Associates, and WordPerfect Corporation, supporting a diverse range of engineering and testing functions. Colin holds a degree in Computer Science from Edinburgh Napier University.
