Owais Haleem is an experienced professional in information security and network engineering, currently serving as the Director of Information Security & Network Engineering at Sinai Chicago since November 2019. In this role, Owais develops, implements, and monitors comprehensive cybersecurity and IT risk management programs across several healthcare institutions, including Mount Sinai Hospital and Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital. Prior experiences include a Senior Manager role at U.S. Cellular, managing enterprise information security operations, and serving as the Information Security and Compliance Manager for the City of Chicago. Owais has held critical engineering and network roles at Senet International, Verizon Wireless, and Sprint. Owais holds a Master of Science in Information Security from Lewis University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of South Wales.
