Roy Schieving is a seasoned freelance UX designer and conversion specialist with extensive experience in optimizing digital channels and improving user experience. Since September 2008, Roy has been active at Niro Design, providing consultancy and project support in UX/UI design and conversion optimization. Current roles include Conversion Specialist at Simyo and Obelink Vrijetijdsmarkt, and Design Lead at Optimalisatie Groep. Previous experience includes a tenure at Efteling as a Conversion Specialist and UX Designer, where Roy focused on enhancing digital maturity, as well as positions at LeasePlan and Online Dialogue, where design and data-driven methodologies were utilized for A/B testing and website optimization. Roy has also contributed to industry education as a teacher at the Online Dialogue Academy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Communication & Media Design from HAN University and an MBO in Multimedia Design from ROC Nijmegen.
