Luca Vicentini has diverse work experience in the healthcare and engineering field. Luca started their career as an intern at Philips in 2013. Luca then worked as a consultant at Valtech Cardio in 2016 and later joined Ospedale San Raffaele as a cardiovascular engineer in 2014. In 2015, Luca became a thesis supervisor for biomedical engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Luca also worked at 4TECH Inc., where they held various roles, including therapy development consultant, European Principal Therapy Development Specialist, and clinical and engineering consultant from 2015 to 2020. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Universitätsspital Zürich as a cardiovascular engineer. In 2020, Luca joined SwissVortex as a project manager, and later in the same year, they became the Chief Operating Officer at SIMULANDS.
Luca Vicentini's education history starts in 2009, when they enrolled in Politecnico di Milano for their bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. Luca completed this degree in 2012. Following their bachelor's degree, from 2012 to 2014, Luca attended Eindhoven University of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Cardiovascular Technology/Technologist.
In 2014, Luca briefly returned to Politecnico di Milano to pursue a Master's degree in Ingegneria biomedica/medica.
