Omar Kamoun is a Site Reliability Engineer at SimScale since August 2023 and previously served as an Infrastructure Engineer at Seiza from August 2021 to August 2023. Omar gained early experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Cognira in 2021, where analysis led to a significant reduction in service communication latency through a migration from REST to gRPC APIs. Prior to this, a DevOps and Cloud Intern role at Think-it GmbH involved developing a serverless application using AWS and GCP. Omar's competitive programming skills were demonstrated as a contestant at the Arab Collegiate Programming Contest in November 2018. An educational background in Software Engineering and Computer Science was obtained from INSAT (2016-2021).
