Don Peters currently serves as a Seed Specialist at MCCREATH SIMPSON & PRENTICE LIMITED since May 2023. Previously, Don held the position of Commercial Seed Manager Scotland at Agrii from May 2021 to May 2023 and served as Seed Manager at Scotgrain Agriculture Ltd from July 1998 to May 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing all seed business aspects, maximizing trading volume and profitability, and evaluating new seed varieties. Don's experience involves strategic planning, quality management, and risk management, with significant interactions with key stakeholders such as the executive team, General Manager, seed growers, plant breeders, and certifying authorities. Don holds a BSc (Hons) in Rural Resource Management from Edinburgh Napier University and has studied Rural Resource Management in Agriculture at SRUC.
