Nancy Canales currently serves as the Assistant Manager of Business Development at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP since May 2023 and holds the position of Board Treasurer for Beyond Rhetoric, a nonprofit focused on supporting at-risk youth in Maryland. Previously, Nancy was an Associate at Allen & Overy from October 2020 to April 2023 and gained legal experience as a Student Representative at Georgetown Law Center for Applied Legal Studies, a Summer Associate at Allen & Overy, a Judicial Extern at the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, a Legal Intern at the Office for Civil Rights of the Department of Education, and a Summer Legal Intern at Georgetown University's Office of General Counsel. In the education sector, Nancy worked as an English Success Coach and Professional Development Lead for Prince George's County Public Schools and as a Graduate Coordinator and Academic Advisor at the University of Maryland.
