Lila Costa has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2003 with an Event Planning + PR Internship at Transamerica Hotel, Salvador, Brazil. In 2004 they took on the role of Client Relations Officer | Team Lead at Costa do SauÃpe Resort. In 2006, they became an Event Manager at MEDGRUPO. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Cultural Immersion Program | Au Pair at Cultural Care Exchange Program | Manhattanville College, studying English and obtaining fluency while living and working as an Au Pair for an American host family. In 2011 they were an International Event Planner at Gecamin. From 2012 to 2016 they were an Event Manager at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. In 2019 they became Manager, Conferences - Global CIO Portfolio Logistics at Gartner. Most recently, in 2021 they took on roles as Senor Client Services Director and Publications and Program Director at SIMPSON Healthcare.
Lila Costa attended Manhattanville College to study ESL - English as Second Language. Lila then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Universidade Salvador in the field of Tourism and Hospitality. In January 2018, they were awarded the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council.
