Joel Beatty is currently the Scientific Director at SIMPSON Healthcare. Prior to this role, they were the Associate Scientific Director at SIMPSON Healthcare beginning in 2021. Before that, they were the Visiting Assistant Professor at Fairfield University from 2018.

Joel Beatty obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Rhetoric and Technical Communication from Michigan Technological University in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Montana in 2011.
