Ryan Skora, MS, ACSM-EP, CWPC has a diverse work experience. Ryan began their career in 2013 as an Intern at Downtown Physical Therapy, where they taught a weekly core strengthening small group fitness class at the OneAmerica corporate fitness center in Indianapolis and escalated exposure to patients through appropriate execution and supervision of therapeutic exercise with designated patients. In 2014, they worked as a Front Desk Attendant at the National Institute for Fitness and Sport, where they maintained member and group fitness records and conducted new member orientations for members at Eli Lilly’s corporate fitness centers and scheduled all personal training appointments. Ryan also worked as an Aide at The Jackson Center for Conductive Education, where they equipped motor-challenged children and adults with physical abilities and the confidence to attain the highest quality of independent life. That same year, they worked as a PAIP Instructor and Kinesiology Hourly Assistant at Indiana University. In 2015, they worked as a Personal Training Intern at U-FIT Indy and a Movement Coach at Healthy IU, Indiana University Bloomington. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Health and Wellness Coach and Lead Health and Wellness Coach at Johnson Memorial Hospital, and from 2020 to present, they have worked as a Health Coach and Head of Coaching Strategy at SimpleTherapy, and as an Employee Health and Wellness Coach at Trilogy Health Services, LLC.
Ryan Skora completed their Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a Personal Training Certificate, from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2013. Ryan then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University Bloomington, which they completed in 2016. In 2015, they obtained a Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) from the American College of Sports Medicine, and a Functional Movement Screen- Level 1 from Functional Movement Systems. In 2019, they obtained a Certified Wellness Program Coordinator (CWPC) from Chapman Institute. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained a BLS Provider from the American Heart Association.
