Sriram Gopalakrishnan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sriram currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Simple720- eFiling of IRS Excise Taxes since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Chief Executive Officer at SimpleTruckTax.com, a platform aimed at providing user-friendly solutions for tax filing, since March 2013. Additionally, Sriram served as the CEO of Triesten Technologies, LLC starting from December 2009. Sriram also founded Simple Truck ELD in November 2016, which focused on providing electronic logging device solutions for truckers. Sriram's early career involved more than a decade of experience in the aviation industry, specifically in the aviation domain, where they were a certified instructor for choppers from January 1986 to May 2002.

Sriram Gopalakrishnan completed their education at Madras Christian College from 1975 to 1986, majoring in Aviation, Engineering & Computer Science.
