Stacey Warthen has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Stacey most recently worked at Simple Thread as a Principal UX Designer starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they held various positions at Azul Arc, including VP of Design and Product Management from October 2018 to October 2021. At Azul Arc, they also served as the Director of Digital Product & Design Strategy from December 2015 to October 2018 and as a Design Strategy & Project Manager from April 2015 to December 2015. Stacey also had their own design business, Stacey Warthen Design, where they worked as the Owner & Designer from May 2011 to April 2015. Stacey gained experience in branding and creative services as the Brand and Creative Services Specialist at USO from October 2011 to March 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Language and Culture Auxiliary at Junta de AndalucÃa from September 2010 to June 2011, where they designed and implemented lesson plans to improve English comprehension and cultural understanding. Earlier in their career, Stacey worked as a Lead Designer and Marketing Associate at Classic Homes of Maryland from September 2008 to August 2010, where they conceptualized and designed marketing materials. Stacey Warthen has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Studio Art with a Concentration in Graphic Design from the University of Maryland, which was obtained from 2004 to 2008. Stacey also attended the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business in 2018 for the Transition-to-Manager Executive Program, but did not obtain a degree from there. Additionally, they have a certification in Interaction Design from the Nielsen Norman Group, which was acquired in 2015. Stacey Warthen also attended General Assembly in 2014 for Front-End Web Development. In 2007, they studied Fine and Studio Arts at The American University of Rome, although no degree was obtained from there. Finally, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in October 2015.
